Welcome to Cenvill Recreation, Inc., the corporate home of the Century Village®Communities that are located in West Palm Beach, Boca Raton and Pembroke Pines, Florida. As the visionary behind the Century Village® concept, I am very proud of our rich history which began forty-four years ago with the philosophy that by offering affordable housing and providing top quality recreational services, people would have an enjoyable way of life. When I embarked on this endeavor the idea of Century Village® was very clear-cut. The concept was that instead of 'going' on vacation, everyday life would be a vacation. In the last four decades, Cenvill Recreation, Inc. has built four locations housing about 50,000 residents. We began as an affordable community that offered an array of amenities that included entertainment, athletics and transportation in a secure, gated environment. We now have communities with baby boomers enjoying the Cenvill way of life. What has remained constant throughout the years is my concept and vision for Cenvill's planned communities...the ability to have an affordable, enjoyable and safe amenity-rich community. Our motto was and is: "Adding years to your life and life to your years." To meet the ever-changing needs of residents, we've continually modernized our clubhouses, the centerpiece of every community, each with over 100,000 square feet of space. For fitness enthusiasts there are state-of-the-art work-out facilities, exercise classes and indoor and outdoor pools. Our residents can indulge themselves in computer classes, arts and crafts, hobbies and enjoy over 100 Broadway-style live shows and current movies. In fact, except for Disney World, we have grown into the largest bookers of entertainment in the Southeast. Sprinkled along the Villages' grounds are outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts and in some instances golf courses. We provide a transportation system for residents within the community as well as buses to shopping and recreational facilities located close to each community. All these amenities are overseen by Cenvill's devoted and specially-trained management teams and their staffs. I am humbled by our accomplishments and the fact that we strive to continuously improve the lifestyle of our ever-changing population. It has been my privilege to watch the Century Village® concept blossom from an innovative idea into a way of life for the thousands of residents.
