The CEO

The CEO Foundation ("CEO") was founded in March 2000 by and was since exempted from Hong Kong taxation under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance. It is our goal to inspire public concern for the benefits of orphans and underprivileged children. Thus, one major aspect of CEO's Three-fold Mission is to reach out to the poor, the abandoned and orphans (predominantly the handicapped). In 2003, CEO instigated the Family Anew ("FA") Movement in China. The movement began in an ancient capital of China called Luoyang City, where the FA Foster-care Program for handicapped orphans was launched. It was accomplished by collaborating with its provincial orphanage, i.e., Luoyang Children Welfare Institute, where CEO was instrumental in establishing its Foster Care Department. The success of the FA foster-care program helped advocate the core value of "family" and "children's right despite disabilities". The simple belief in upholding the importance of parental tender-loving-care in children, handicapped or healthy, have been proven valuable by these transformations documented. Another specific area that we regarded fruitfully to have invested our time and efforts was to initiate special education since 2011. Given these children progressive level of growth and development, the special education center proved to be an essential element in contributing to richen their flourishing lives. After a decade of success in Luoyang, CEO expanded the FA Movement to an adjacent county with a new undertaking, the Family Anew Apprenticeship Program, through which tens upon thousands of underprivileged children in this county would be rendered relevant assistance. Not only does CEO receive full cooperation from the municipal and county government, the program is endorsed directly by the Henan Provincial Government.
