The practice was first established on Island in 1959, maintaining fully staffed offices since 1966. We are 100% Caymanian owned company that focuses its entire practice in the Cayman Islands, meaning reinvestment in our local community. We currently have a staff of 10 providing architectural, interior architecture and planning services. Chalmers Gibbs has been the lead architect on many prominent buildings in the Cayman Islands over the years including Owen Roberts Airport, Cricket Square, Ugland House, Butterfield Bank, Royal Bank, HSA hospitals and many other commercial, institutional and industrial projects. Our portfolio covers a wide range of sectors such as commercial office buildings, financial services, healthcare, aged care, tertiary education, residential, hospitality and industrial projects. Our team members have international experience and training in varied fields, bringing this expertise to our projects and as well to providing mentorship to new generations of Caymanian architects, interior designers and technologists.
