Charleton Farm
Charleton Farm has been a family run business since 1946, when Robert (Findlay) McQuistan bought the farm. At that time the main produce was raspberries. There were also several dairy cows kept to provide the farmhouse with milk, cream and butter. 14 employees worked the farm and were provided with food and oatmeal or equivalent in pay. The old barn and stables has been converted to coffee shop and gift shop. The business has grown considerably since 1961 and today we invite you to spend a day on the farm, pick your own fruit or have it ready picked for you. Relax afterwards in our coffee shop with a bite to eat and look around our gift shop while the kids play in the playing area.
