The company, which produces window blinds, started out as a small family-owned business in 1979 and currently employs 377 people. Decora is one of the largest window blind producers in the UK - and Managing Director Stuart Dickson said they want to further build on the company's market share. "Our goal is to strengthen the manufacturing capabilities of the business including the high end home automation market while delivering further progress to our wholesale customers through new bespoke systems to support the 2012 Fabric Box Collection," said Mr Dickson. The company has been offered £237,000 of support from Invest NI which Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster believes will help to "revitalise" the economy. "Decora's success has been characterised by continuous innovation that has led to it becoming a successful and established brand in the UK. "The development of new product lines and increased levels of marketing will support the company's aims of further growth," she added.
