Chestnut Holdings is a family-owned real estate investment and management firm with a strong, 15-year track record as an owner-manager of properties throughout New York City. Our management team has over 150 years of collective experience and a deep understanding of the real estate market. Chestnut purchased its first building in the Bronx in 1997 - a property we improved significantly, and still own and manage today. Since that time we have expanded and refined our property management capabilities to ensure that we quickly and continuously improve the buildings we purchase, and provide the best possible services to our tenants. Chestnut is a proactive and hands-on owner-manager. We work to ensure that safe, well maintained housing communities with reliable services are provided to our tenants. We also value our strong relationships with the financial institutions, real estate brokers and real estate service providers we work with in purchasing and improving our properties, often under challenging circumstances.
