Chong + Koster is a digital marketing firm that specializes in digital communications for high-profile clients. We started in politics and advocacy eight years ago, but have since developed other areas including media, technology companies, e-commerce retailers, the travel industry, apparel brands and startup companies. In politics, we were the first firm to publish an internet-based comprehensive voter persuasion model, the first firm to prove how online ads can affect poll numbers, and the first firm to win a statewide election using online ads as the main form of voter communication. Today at Chong + Koster, most of our political work is with high-profile electoral and advocacy organizations. We then started being approached to solve marketing problems in other verticals. We have been selective about taking on only private-sector clients that we feel are positively affecting the world—and we’ve had great fun solving big problems for the ones who make the cut. We are a full-service marketing firm with in-house ad creation, media buying, strategy, web design and web development. At Chong +Koster, we like to think of ourselves as a problem-solving firm that is good at leveraging digital tools. Of course we’re good at things like paid search, social media advertising, display, pre-roll, online radio ads, content platforms, and high-impact takeovers; but most importantly, we know how to solve a client’s problem. For many objectives, we already know what tools and tactics to use, and when we don’t, we use data to find the answers. We do everything from direct response, to brand campaigns, to stunts designed to help clients capitalize on key moments. We take new clients by referral only, and we strive to keep the client roster limited so we can focus on doing great work.
