New Vision, the Yakima County Development Association (YCDA) is a public-private non-profit corporation created to enhance the income and employment stability of the local economy. The Association encourages business investment that will create jobs and expand the local tax base. The Yakima County Development Association began operations in 1985. Its Board of Directors reflects the composite leadership - both public and private - of the largest, most vibrant urban area in Central Washington. The board is the backbone of the association, and its most important asset. The Yakima County Development Association is a coalition of business, government, labor, and education leaders working to build a solid economic foundation for the future of Yakima County.
