ACK Controls. was a U.S. Joint Venture company formed in October 1989 by Acco Controls Group, headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan, Chuo Spring Company Ltd. of Nagoya, Japan, and Kokoku Steel Wire Ltd., of Tokyo, Japan. Chuo Spring Company Ltd. purchased Kokoku's and Dura Automotive's (formerly known as Acco Controls Group) ownership, therefore leaving ACK Controls, Inc. solely owned by Chuo Spring Company, Ltd.
