The bank received its banking charter and opened for business in Versailles, Kentucky in November 1996. The holding company, a Kentucky corporation, was subsequently formed in 1998. Through its bank subsidiary, the company provides banking services to Woodford County and the surrounding area through five full service locations, two in Versailles, one in Frankfort, one in Nicholasville and one in Lexington.
