CityCo

CityCo strives to make Manchester city centre a better place to work, visit and live. CityCo is a membership organisation that connects businesses with each other, and public agencies, to drive forward initiatives that support an improved, thriving and aspirational city experience. We seek to support economic growth and ensure the city is competing on national and international scale. As a member, businesses are supporting the full range of CityCo and Piccadilly Partnership activity. We provide Operational and Security services to tackle day-to-day issues and assist with providing solutions, facilitate working groups and give advice where it's needed. We run networking events; from larger scale conferences to private dinners and a city-wide PA Network; to bring executives together and ensure members are up-to-speed with city plans. We work with various partners to deliver projects that help to make the city centre greener, more sustainable and bio-diverse; through our Manchester Garden Scheme and more recently Dig the City - our urban gardening festival. We work to bring life to the city's public spaces; developing and promoting the unique characteristics of our city villages; connecting people, improving the environment and running quality events such as The Manchester Picnic, The Canal Festival and Dig the City, that attract interest and build our reputation as a place where great things happen. We manage Manchester's first Business Improvement District, the Heart of Manchester BID. The BID delivers promotional and customer service initiatives to benefit city centre retailers including the City Hosts scheme, our newly published guidebook Where to Go Manchester and Vogue Fashion's Night Out.
