The City of Moorhead maintains two Fire Stations staffed with thirty full-time professional firefighters. This allows for quick responses to any type of emergency with an average response rate of two to four minutes. Reciprocal agreements with neighboring communities provide up to an additional seventy firefighters with access to pumper or aerial trucks in the event of a major fire.
