Cliffe Consulting is one of the few independently owned and operated financial advice firms in New Zealand. John Cliffe is an Authorised Financial Adviser. He has over 20 years experience in providing financial and investment advice. He holds the degrees of BA and BCom from University of Auckland plus a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies endorsed in Personal Financial Planning from Massey University. He is one of only 53 entities (as at January 2017) in New Zealand to have had a Discretionary Investment Management Service license awarded to him by the Financial Markets Authority. John is well known in the industry due to his independence, private client base, training and involvement in software development. John was co-developer of CCH iTrust, a software package used by more than 300 legal and accounting firms around New Zealand. Rachelle Bland is an Authorised Financial Adviser, with over 20 years industry experience. She has a BCom from the University of Auckland and the National Certificate in Financial Services (Financial Advice) (Level 5). Since leaving University, Rachelle has worked for a number of major financial institutions, providing financial advice, training financial advisers and developing financial advice systems and technology. John and Rachelle are both practitioner members of the Institute of Financial Advisers.
