Clinomics

Clinomics is a subsidiary of Clinvet International (a GCP/GLP accredited contract research organization) situated outside Bloemfontein, South Africa. The laboratory was designed following EPA Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Biosafety Level III and GCP/GLP guidelines. These include: separate laboratories for sample preparation, reagent preparation, target amplification and sample analysis; dedicated equipment for each laboratory; and HEPA filtered air pressure differentials between laboratories to minimize contamination. The laboratories are equipped with state of the art equipment and systems to ensure preservation of samples and integrity of data. The equipment allows for and includes automated DNA isolation, liquid handling robotics, 96-well ELISA plate reader and washer, qPCR systems, AB 3500 Genetic Analyzer and a chemiluminescence gel documentation system.
