Clinton County
RSVP was launched in 1971 and is currently one of the largest senior volunteer organizations in the nation. It is a part of the National Senior Service Corps and is administered by the Corporation for National and Community Service. The Corporation was created to connect Americans of all ages and backgrounds with opportunities to give back to their communities and their country. Also administered under the corporation are Americorps and Learn and Serve programs. The Corporation is part of our nation&s;s history of commitment to building a culture of citizenship, service, and responsibility. In Clinton County RSVP is sponsored by Catholic Charities Diocese of Ogdensburg and is funded by grants from the Corporation for national Service, New York State Office of the Aging and United Way of Clinton and Essex Counties as well as private donations and fundraising projects.
