Welcome to the Childrens Museum of Manhattan! As a NYC parent and an ardent advocate for equity in education, Ive long been an admirer of CMOMs mission and program. As the Museums new CEO and Director, I have seen firsthand how CMOM has become an ever-more vital resource to families from throughout the five boroughs. CMOM is a steward of early childhood, helping our youngest citizens grow and develop into their best selves. As opportunities for children to learn, connect, create, and play remain curtailed, CMOM has redoubled our efforts to support families both in person and online. At the Museum, children and their caregivers can enjoy small-group, socially distanced guided adventures of our researched-based and award-winning exhibitions , which are updated each month with timely new activities and programs. We are continuing our outreach programs supporting families living in shelters and temporary housing. And we have expanded our online resources at CMOM at Home , which offer opportunities for families to learn and play together in the comfort of their own home.
