Cobalt Construction Inc. is based in Whitehorse, Yukon. Our large, 10 bay shop and rebuild facility sits on a 20 acre lot adjacent to the Alaska Highway. Our fleet of over 100 pieces of heavy equipment includes excavators, rock trucks, dozers, graders, loaders, packers and cranes. In addition, Cobalt has a fleet of highway tractors with various gravel, step deck, trombone and heavy haul trailers, and all the support equipment and personnel required to operate and maintain them. Cobalt Construction Inc. has an experienced management team that brings many strengths to the company. With decades of experience between them, our key players give us the experience to be safe, productive, and complete our projects on time and on budget. Our equipment and crew have the ability to work in remote northern locations, and are accustomed to working with permafrost, ice roads, muskeg, and other year round conditions in the Yukon. We are proud to be COR safety certified by the Northern Safety Network Yukon (NSNY) and are committed to maintaining a strong safety management program that protects its staff, property and the public from incidents, accidents and near misses. Everyone at Cobalt Construction Inc. is required to actively participate in the program, and management at Cobalt is dedicated to providing proper equipment, training and procedures to our workers.
