Cody's Restaurant System, LLC (CRS), the owners of Cody's Original Roadhouse, will be there to support you from the beginning and will always continue to support you. We always strive to build our brand with promotions and marketing concepts to keep Cody's Original Roadhouse®a major competitor in the restaurant market. We offer Great Quality and Great Value to our customers and that keeps them coming back. Cody's® sales have continued to grow every year, with higher average comparisons than similar concepts. 2. WHAT ARE THE FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS OF A CODY'S ORIGINAL ROADHOUSE FRANCHISE? The initial franchise fee, in acquiring a license to operate a Cody's Original Roadhouse, is $50,000. This initial investment includes training, support, development assistance and operating manuals - all necessary tools to start up the restaurant. The total investment varies, but an estimated range is between $772,225 to $1,476,500. 3. WHAT IS THE ONGOING ROYALTY FEE? The royalty fee is 4% of gross sales. This fee provides you with the use of the Cody's Original Roadhouse brand name and operating system, as well as ongoing support, training, research, and development. 4. WHAT IS THE MARKETING FEE? The marketing assessment is 3-4.5% of gross sales. This is used to promote and build brand recognition of Cody's Original Roadhouse name. 5. WHAT IS THE AVERAGE RETURN ON INVESTMENT? Your return will depend upon a number of factors: your skills and abilities in operating a successful restaurant, competition, interest rates, the economy, inflation, labor and supply costs, lease terms, and the marketplace in general. The franchise disclosure document can answer more of your questions. 6. DO I NEED EXPERIENCE AND IS IT NECESSARY TO WORK IN MY RESTAURANT? Previous restaurant experience is necessary. If you do not have food service experience we suggest that you partner with someone who has the experience. We believe that a successful management team must be active in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant as this also helps with the return on the investment.
