COFFEE CULTURE opened in July 1996 as a Roaster-Specialty Coffeehouse in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska, owned and operated by Terrance & Di Reis. After six years of successful operation we left the retail beverage business to pursue an increasing demand of our mail order and e-commerce markets and to enter the local wholesale market. OUR MISSION is to provide the freshest, highest quality, roasted coffee available. We are here for those with discerning tastes - the true coffee lovers. At Coffee Culture we work hard to supply our clients with the highest quality product that can be had. We are more than willing to go out of our way to find and select the very best green coffee beans that we can find. In fact, we have bypassed complete coffee varietals for an entire season due to a lack of quality beans that we can offer with pride. We buy only fine ARABICA'S and only current crop (beans of six months of age or less). We never buy green coffee beans blindly. All green bean samples selected are roasted and cupped for quality and only those beans that meet our rigid requirements are purchased. Here at Coffee Culture we work with seven green coffee bean brokers. This allows us a wide variety of green beans to choose from and, in turn, makes it possible for us to set our own high standards of quality. AS ROASTMASTER, TERRANCE has had some of the best training imaginable. His training began with an 8-year apprenticeship with a world renown coffee family. He has done everything from the nursery up, as not only did this family have it's own successful chain of coffeehouses it also had coffee farms in Costa Rica and Antigua Guatemala.
