The foundations of our firm were initially established in 2007 with the establishment of a family office in Singapore focused on financial technology; real estate; commodities and mining; and leisure and hospitality investments, with an initial capital of under USD$ 50 million the firm grew to over USD$ 200 million in a very short period. With the family office still active, in 2015 the establishment of a digital assets crowd funding platform that saw the backing of more than 50 projects and more than USD$ 400 million in investments; complemented the creation of a venture studio (incubation and acceleration business) alongside a venture fund solely focused on financial technology. One of the businesses incubated in 2016 was a proprietary trading platform using our own developed algorithmic trading and compliance software . Executing proprietary trading initially on capital markets in Asia, the platform then successfully ventured into the digital assets markets. By 2017, as trading opportunities started to emerge in the digital asset market we further created and deployed quantitative trading strategies. Following a proven traction of our strategies, we launched our own fund named Coinful at the beginning of 2018, initially focused on algorithmic quantitative trading in digital assets,further institutionalize our processes, accommodate the onboarding of external investors and allow for us to seek investment opportunities in a more structured and disciplined manner. s we consolidated our digital asset quantitative algorithmic trading expertise, we brought in the experience gained in qualitative investment in digital assets from the crowd funding venture; as well as the knowledge from the venture studio; which coupled with the family office track record, in 2019 finally culminated a 12 year journey that puts together the people, experience and track record into a specialized alternative investments hedge fund: Coinful Capital Fund.
