The Commercial Art Lab

The Commercial Art Lab offers high quality product photography, videography and graphic design services to the jewelry industry. The studio is located at 62 W. 47th Street in the heart of New York's diamond district and provides a secure location for your valuables. Merchandise may be shipped to the studio, dropped off in person, or we can come to your location and set-up our mobile studio. The Commercial Art Lab is owned and operated by photographer Chad Johnson. Chad Johnson is a jewelry photographer and fashion photographer working in New York City. His work has been published in Elite Traveler, Rapaport, Marie Claire, New York magazine, online French Vogue, National Jeweler as well as in numerous online publications and local newspapers. Chad's background is physics and in 2009 he completed his PhD at Columbia University. Audrey Guadagnoli is the production manager at The Commercial Art Lab. Her duties include image retouching and production. Audrey comes to The Commercial Art Lab from The Fashion Institute of Technology where she graduated in 2015 with a degree in visual presentation and exhibition design. Previously she worked at Nomadic Thread Society and assisted at Vogue for Sara Moonves and Samantha Knobloch. Danielle Marchese is the assistant photographer at The Commercial Art Lab. Danielle comes to The Commercial Art Lab from Pratt Institute where she graduated in 2016 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography. Previously she worked at Sun+Glory and assisted at Micheal Sharkey's studio.
