Commerce Lexington

Commerce Lexington Inc. is the lead business and economic development organization for the Bluegrass. Formed in January 2004 from the merger of the Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce, Lexington United (a local economic development agency), and the Lexington Partnership for Workforce Development, Commerce Lexington Inc. works with the local government, the University of Kentucky and surrounding communities to enhance business and economic development opportunities in and around the Lexington area. Commerce Lexington Inc. partners to build the eight county Bluegrass Region by working closely with the area economic development agencies providing a seamless, comprehensive array of solutions. Our team offers a diverse approach of programs and services to support the start-up of new businesses, the expansion of existing businesses, and the attraction of companies that offer high impact jobs and share the community's values.
