Community Impact Newspaper
Owners John and Jennifer Garrett launched the first edition of Community Impact Newspaper in 2005 with three full-time employees covering Round Rock and Pflugerville in Central Texas. The company debuted its new $10 million state-of-the-art printing facility in 2016 next to its headquarters in Pflugerville, Texas. As other print publications scale back or cut ties altogether, Community Impact Newspaper continues gaining momentum as an information resource to residents. Hyperlocal versions of the paper are delivered monthly to more than 2 million homes in Texas and Arizona, and now the paper serves new audiences with its edition in Tennessee.
