European Compost Network

The ECN is operated by a Board. A number of task groups have been established to achieve the outlined objectives. For its activities towards achieving these objectives, ECN has set up the following comprehensive work structure: The work is co-ordinated by the ECN office. In relation to ECN's objectives, four work areas are defined: 'Communication and Events covering the objectives 'Knowledge share point and membership development; 'European Policy' covering the objective 'Favourable legal framework'; 'Quality Assurance for Compost and Digestate' covering the objective 'Implementing Quality Assurance', and 'Research and Market Development' covering objective 'Market development'.
