COMPSPEC was formed in 1989. We assist healthcare providers in reducing their bad debt write-offs. This is done by qualifying patients for third party coverage. We use a series of specific programs designed to obtain appropriate eligibility and reimbursement. Programs include Medi-Cal, Medicare, Victims of Violent Crime, Workers' Compensation, Indemnity Insurance, HMO's/PPO's and other contracted payers, and other liable third parties. Our services extend from assisting patients in completing appropriate applications and securing required attachments, through final disposition. This includes representing the patients and our clients interests in fair hearing processes, appeals, and the filing and tracking of liens. These services and others have been organized into COMPSPEC's Comprehensive Revenue Recovery Services (CRRS) program. CRRS is an integrated and coordinated approach to maximizing revenue production on behalf of all our clients. This includes private and public facilities both large and small. COMPSPEC has obtained tens of millions of dollars in reimbursement on behalf of our clients.
