We utilize SONET (Synchronous Optical NETwork) ring connections throughout our network with multiple physical entrances. As a further redundancy, we have our own -48 Volt DC power plants. These plants produce a clean flow of power that is absolutely necessary for high-quality telecommunications, while providing protection from power surges and backup power during commercial power outages. As a final security measure, Conference America's entire power structure is backed up by two on-site diesel generators capable of powering all of Conference America's operations.
