Congo Premier

Congo Premier Sarl is a Congolese company registered in Kinshasa in 2011, with its statutes harmonized OHADA model SARL. The company is owned by three Congolese nationals and the majority owner has had several high level and influential positions in DRC mining governance. Congo Premier is a mineral trading company which also intends to provide technical and financial support for the extraction, transport, processing and export and marketing of cassiterite, tantalite and other Colombite-Group Minerals (CGM) to a state-owned industrial mining company which is an iTSCi member. All minerals are expected to come from concessions owned jointly by Congo Premier and the state-owned mining company in Norh Kivu, South Kivu and Maniema, some of which may be smelted at a company based in Province Orientale which is almost entirely owned by Congo Premier and is also an iTSCi member. Congo Premier has provided a conflict minerals policy, however a due diligence management plan has yet to become available. Congo Premier has examples of contracts with global suppliers.
