The WCMA (Window Coverings Manufacturer's Association), in conjunction with the CPSC (Consumer Products Safety Commission) has established revised guidelines for window covering safety. To ensure the highest possible level of user protection, and to fully comply with the new, voluntary safety standards, Conrad has implemented a series of specific changes to the design and manufacture of our window treatments to significantly reduce any risk to children posed by the operating cords used on roman fold and roll-up shades. In the coming months, we will continue to seek out and develop the most innovative and effective ways to produce window coverings that achieve the highest possible level of safety, performance and beauty.
