Coopland & Son (Scarborough) Ltd. was founded in 1885 as a Pork Butcher/Baker in Market Street, Scarborough, by the present Managing Director's Great Grandfather. Now in our fourth generation, we have become one of the country's leading craft bakers, employing over 1000 people. Operating from three bakeries, we supply over 100 shops, 10 cafés and a small wholesale business within the Yorkshire, Durham, Lincolnshire and Teesside areas. Although we have developed and grown considerably in recent years, we still maintain our family spirit, atmosphere and enthusiasm that has built our reputation as a progressive company that is committed to selling high quality, traditionally made products.
