Copenhagen Health Innovation
Copenhagen Health Innovation (CHI) is a partnership between Copenhagen Business School, the Technical University of Denmark, the University of Copenhagen, University College Copenhagen, the City of Copenhagen and the Capital Region of Denmark aimed at creating health innovation through education and innovation projects. CHI was established in 2016 to strengthen the local eco system within health innovation and education. We bring together the capital's largest health care providers and the strongest knowledge and educational institutions within health and medical sciences, health care, technology, innovation and management. This collaboration gives us a unique opportunity to introduce challenges from practice along with innovation and entrepreneurship into teaching. The aim is to increase the students' understanding of the reality they will face after graduation and to stimulate a mindset focussing on finding innovative solutions to challenges facing the health sector. Central to CHI is facilitating the meeting between practice and education: The City of Copenhagen and the Capital Region of Denmark are able to bring concrete health challenges and needs into play in study programmes and research, and the knowledge institutions get easier access to patients, health professionals and facilities in the health sector.
