This web site is a guide to the history of the newsletter and does not list any articles or advertisers online. The village is also referred to as Copshaw Holm or simply, 'The Holm'. The Copshaw Clatter is on sale monthly in the village shops and articles or correspondence may be forwarded to the Editor as notified in each issue. Local items are placed at the Post Office or Holm Hardware. Deadlines are 19th of each month except in December when it will be 12th December to allow time for a Christmas issue. The first Clatter, with Ann Charters as Editor was issued in July 1983. Starting with just two double pages it was only a third of its present size and cost 10p. Eddie Rutherford was the printer using a manual Gestetner in his own home. A small team of enthusiastic supporters, plus his family, helped by collating, stapling, folding and delivering.
