The Corris Railway
The Corris Railway is offering free travel for fathers on Sunday June 18th. To mark Father's Day 2017 dads who are accompanied by at least one child aged 15 or under will enjoy a free round trip along the Dulas Valley between Corris station and Maespoeth Junction, plus a small free gift as a memento of the journey. The round trip takes just under an hour and includes a look around the locomotive shed and the workshops at the Junction. The Museum, shop and refreshments area at Corris station will be open. The first train departure from Corris station is at 11.00 and thereafter at 12.00, 13.00, 14.00, 15.00 and 16.00. Corris station is in the centre of the village and is reached from the A487, turning off the main road at the Braich Goch Inn.
