Texas Association of Counties

The Texas Association of Counties (TAC) is the sole representative voice for all Texas Counties and county officialsacting as a forum for resolving county issues and a prime vehicle for communicating the county perspective to state officials and the general public. A non-profit corporation, TAC works as an important resource to Texas counties in a number of areas including education, liaison activity with state and national government, research, technical assistance, cost-effective risk management services and communication on county issues and activities. The association was founded in 1969.
