In 1961, André Courrèges founded his own couture house. The fashion world considered him a revolutionary for his designs and use of materials. Courrèges made clothing for active women looking for functional designs and his signature looks soon became iconic marking a stepping stone that changed fashion forever. In 1972, he launched his first perfume Empreinte. Since 2011, the House of Courrèges has known a dynamic relaunch, bringing this timeless, avant-garde French brand to its new era.
