Coventry High School

The Coventry Early Childhood Center (CECC) is the first early childhood program in Coventry to earn the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) - the nation's leading organization of early childhood professionals. To earn NAEYC Accreditation, CECC went through an extensive self-study process, measuring the program and its services against the 10 new NAEYC early childhood Program Standards and more than 400 related Accreditation Criteria. The center received NAEYC Accreditation as of August 31, 2008 after an on-site visit by a NAEYC assessor. The program met each of the 10 standards and is accredited by NAEYC for a five-year period.
