The mission of C-Quest Capital is to reduce humanity's carbon footprint, while helping poor people around the world to transform their lives. We do this by making profitable investments in improved cookstoves, efficient lighting, and climate-smart agriculture and forestry, and small-scale renewable energy in the world's poorest countries. We leverage carbon finance to provide clean, efficient energy technologies and promote sustainable land use and agriculture. We use the infrastructure of global markets to quantify and monetize reductions in carbon emissions, while managing investment risk in these emerging markets. CQC's Transformation Carbon Project (TCP) offers socially responsible investors, foundations, and corporations the opportunity to invest in projects that yield quantifiable and verifiable benefits to human health and welfare as well as to the environment. Our use of innovative financial structures and public-private partnerships provide carbon credits that meet investors' needs for quality, cost, scale and long-term reliability. CQC originates and manages projects for both regulatory and voluntary markets. Internationally, we develop compliance-grade carbon reduction projects through the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the Kyoto Protocol and have experience with energy efficiency, forestry and agricultural projects, and small- and medium-scale renewables.
