Founded in 1983, the business has grown to over 40 full-time employees. Rob Crapsey and Chris Gilles, the company principals, have instilled a level of professional management and integrity to the construction process that is extremely rare in residential construction. This philosophy is consistently ingrained and is an expectation of all employees. Because of this philosophy, we exceed our clients' expectations and have built our business through the referrals that we receive from our satisfied clients. This is accomplished by placing highly experienced construction professionals on all of our projects. Each of our project managers has over ten years experience with our firm. We employ over 30 master carpenters. We use only the highest quality professional subcontractors and suppliers and have spent numerous years developing these relationships. Every member of the Crapsey and Gilles team takes great personal pride in delivering the finest craftsmanship, uncompromising attention to detail and outstanding customer service on every luxury residence we build or renovate. Environmental issues and safety standards are very important to Crapsey & Gilles Contractors, Inc. Our staff of project managers and carpenters are trained monthly in health, safety and OSHA regulations. The safety of our employees, subcontractors, homeowners and their families is paramount. Doing our part to be responsible stewards of the environment is a growing part of our business through job site and office recycling efforts, promoting leed certified projects and using environmentally sensitive products and building practices, we strive to be at the forefront of the green building movement.
