Colorado River Schools

Our schools and community are working feverishly to provide world-class educational experiences to families living along the Colorado River. In 2013, the Governing Boards of Bullhead City Elementary School District and Colorado River Union High School District voted to approve Inter-governmental Agreements consolidating administrative services. As the superintendent of both districts, I am extremely honored to work with the Governing Boards, Superintendent Hookstra, and the respective employees of both districts in a team effort to develop innovative and exciting learning experiences for all families in the area. Our "College Bound Campaign" is a primary focus in every classroom of the district. We have implemented a myriad of strategies from preschool through 12th grade to ensure that every child is college-bound. Specifically, our goal is to facilitate a conversation about college with every student on a daily basis. Likewise, we are working with teachers, counselors and parents to plan and achieve goals for each student to be academically and monetarily prepared to attend the college of their choice.
