Established in 1978 as DTS (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, the company gained recognition as a pioneer provider in Point-of-Sale systems in Malaysia. It was listed on the ACE Market in 2004 and changed its name to Datascan Berhad, as a public company. The company then ventured into software solutions development and developed its own business management solutions software for the F&B industry, known as the Transight® Smart Service Suite. In 2007, it embarked on a rebranding exercise and changed its name to Cuscapi, derived from the words 'customer ( CUS ) capital ( CAPI )' in line with its commitment to focus on maximising clients' customer capital through excellent delivery and innovative business solutions. Cuscapi achieved another milestone in 2013 when its listing was transferred to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. With its headquarters in Selangor, Malaysia, Cuscapi currently has 12 service centres nationwide and a strong regional presence with support infrastructure in 29 other countries for over 7,000 installed sites.
