Coleman Yovanovich Koester was originally founded in January 1996 and has longstanding roots in the Naples community. The original founding members of the firm were J. Dudley Goodlette, Kevin G. Coleman, and Kenneth R. Johnson, and the firm was known as Goodlette, Coleman & Johnson, P.A. These three attorneys established and cemented a foundation for the firm in both quality of service and values that still exists today. The firm began as a boutique-type law firm providing unparalleled service and concentrating on real estate transactions and finance. The firm quickly responded to its clients' needs and began to incorporate additional practice areas, including land use, litigation, wills, trusts and estates. Throughout its growth, the firm remained firmly focused upon its core goals of superior legal work and excellence in client service. Following the official retirement of Mr. Goodlette and Mr. Johnson, the firm was renamed to Coleman, Yovanovich & Koester, P.A., although the firm is fortunate to have Mr. Johnson still associated with the firm as "of counsel". The shareholders represented in the firm's name are the three most senior shareholders in the firm. The firm currently has a total of seven shareholders, all of whom have made Naples their home for many years and who have developed a true and deep sense of community involvement. The seven shareholders are: Kevin G. Coleman, Richard D. Yovanovich, Edmond E. Koester, William M. Burke, Gregory L. Urbancic, Matthew L. Grabinski and Craig D. Grider. Today, Coleman Yovanovich Koester is uniquely situated to serve its clients. We excel at meeting clients' needs based on our understanding of business objectives, experience in our core practice areas, knowledge of applicable laws and customs, and foresight into new industry trends.
