Kintetsu Department Store Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the operation of department stores. The Company operates mainly in three business segments. The Department Stores segment is engaged in the sale of clothing, paraphernalia, household products, foods and miscellaneous goods; the operation of restaurants, coffee shops and others, as well as the provision of various services through its department stores. The Wholesale and Retail segment mainly sells books and automobiles, processes and sells food, as well as operates supermarkets. The Others segment is involved in the manufacture and wholesale business, interior decorating, transportation, quality testing, the management of buildings and labor dispatching. The Company has 11 subsidiaries and three associates companies. On June 1, 2008, the Company transfered Interior Work Business to its subsidiary.
