Daish's Holidays
The Daish's Group was founded in 1979 by Jeanne Wilson when she purchased Daish's Hotel in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. She then went on to take ownership of a second Shanklin hotel, The Clifftops, in 1993, selling this in 1998. In the same year the family purchased the Bredon Court Hotel in Newquay, followed by the Devonshire Hotel in Torquay in 2001. The next addition to the Group was the Bournemouth Sands Hotel in 2005, giving the Group 4 hotels in all. In 2006 Bredon Court was closed for redevelopment into luxury apartments and in October 2007 the 3 star Barrowfield Hotel in Newquay was purchased bringing Daish's Group back up to its compliment of 4 Hotels. Daish's Travel was set up in 1995 to promote and arrange holidays to the Group's hotels for customers looking for good value accommodation in popular seaside resorts. Now based in Torquay, with its own fleet of 49 seat executive coaches, Daish's is one of the most popular holiday groups in the South West of England. We also work with top coach operators throughout the country who also provide good value and good service so if we don't pick up in your area, we'll know someone who does! By offering our own hotels, with a mix of good food, comfortable ensuite rooms and quality live entertainment, Daish's Travel must be your first choice for a memorable seaside break.
