Dakotaland Transportation, Inc. was founded in January of 2000 in Sioux Falls, SD. We are a 48 state contract carrier operating under authority granted by the federal Department of Transportation, permit number 369955. As a company, we are dedicated to providing safe, reliable and professional service to our customers. The company was originally formed for exclusive transportation of Showplace Wood Products, a producer of all your kitchen and bath cabinet needs. Dakotaland also transports refrigerated products for John Morrell & Co, a Sioux Falls meat packer. Although the company may seem very young, the experience behind it is second to none. The company is locally owned by Bruce and Jerry Fowlds, with combined experience of 64 years. Both partners believe in a family oriented business. The company prides itself with on time deliveries. We specialize in multiple stop truck loads. We offer a fleet of 60 late model tractors and 80 late model 53' air ride trailers. This consists of vans with translucent roofs for easy visibility while loading, reefers with high output thermo kings for all your cooling needs. We also offer international specialized blade trailers for your wind energy needs.
