Dancing for Diabetes has been spreading awareness about Type 1 Diabetes through the art of dance since 2000. We create and participate in a variety of event s and initiatives to educate the community abou t the realities of living with Type 1 Diabetes - and raise funds to assist in finding a cure. And for those living with the daily reality of Type 1 Diabetes, we offer a supportive community with many interactive programs and creative resources designed to empower you to live a healthy and active lifestyle. Until a cure for Type 1 Diabetes is found, it is our mission to support the approximately 1.25 million American children and adults whose lives are impacted. We do this with passion to support those we serve and with gratitude for the impact made possible through the leadership of our Board of Directors and through the generosity of our sponsors and community partners.
