Datacoup also enables you to sell or otherwise share your information with third parties. Retailers, online companies, and other third parties may use our Services to target offers to certain types of users based on parameters that they provide to us. Such parties (each, a "Data Purchaser") may offer you a payment or a special promotion to share certain personal information with them through our Services (each such offer is a "data request"). You can view all data requests from Data Purchasers through our Website when you log in. You can choose to reject or not respond to a data request. Datacoup acts as an intermediary for Data Purchasers to communicate with you, and we will not provide your email address to Data Purchasers unless you tell us to do so. More generally, you control your personal information on our Services, and we will not share your personal information with a third party unless you tell us to do so. If you choose to respond to a data request and share your information with a Data Purchaser, such data may be immediately transferred to the Data Purchaser by Datacoup, or it may be transferred at the end of the time period applicable to that data request. Unless expressly stated otherwise with respect to a particular data request, after your information has been transferred to a Data Purchaser, it is subject to only those privacy protections that the Data Purchaser has committed to. Thus, absent express limitations, a Data Purchaser may resell your personal information or use it in other ways that are not described in this Privacy Policy. Datacoup itself may analyze and draw conclusions about any user's personal or other information. We may use such information to target and send you special offers from a variety of third parties (such as a coupons or special deals sent to a subset of users with certain characteristics). In addition, Datacoup may share aggregated and/or de-identified data with third parties. Aggregated data is information that Datacoup generates from individualized information but subsequently maintains and uses in a form that combines together information about numerous individuals so that no individual can be identified.
