Dade County Federal Credit Union
Established in 1939, a group of ten Dade County employees had a dream to help others financially so they pooled together $135 in an old cigar box, signed a certificate of origination, and formed the Dade County Employees Credit Union. In 1994, the credit union became federally chartered and changed the name to Dade County Federal Credit Union and has grown to over $754 million in assets. Today, the credit union offers many products and services with eleven convenient locations to serve its members. Their mission is to deliver the highest level of service by providing solutions to their members' financial needs. At Dade County FCU, the members always have and always will come first. Membership is offered to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Miami-Dade County.
