Denofa

Denofa is committed to a sustainable and competitive business model. On behalf of Denofa, therefore, I am proud to support Minister of Climate and Environment, Tine Sundtoft's efforts to reduce the deforestation of tropical rainforest. As a natural consequence Denofa in a meeting 21st January 2015 with Minister Sundtoft signed The New York Declaration on Forests. Politicians, public and private sector, civil society organizations, urban populations and farmers can in cooperation contribute to sustainable soy becoming the most competitive source of soy for feed and food. Precisely through private-public cooperation Denofa sees the possibility to an even stronger degree to create a path for agricultural production in rainforest countries to contribute even more to a sustainable future. The past ten years the Norwegian Government's climate programme, Earth Innovation Institute and Denofa's owners Amaggi achieved important results in Brazil for less deforestation. The objective of zero net deforestation constitutes at Denofa alongside with non-GMO, certified sustainability and traceability the basis for offering safe and sustainable soy to our customers, and thus for a more sustainable production of feed and food.
