Desert Orthopedic Center

Founded in 1976, Desert Orthopedic Center is a multi-subspecialty regional orthopedic practice comprised of orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, a podiatrist, rheumatologist, radiologist and acupuncturist. Our physicians have staff privileges at all Coachella Valley hospitals. Between our three desert offices, we see more than 100,000 patients annually and perform more than 5,000 surgical procedures per year. Communication is the first step in quality care and Desert Orthopedic Center places an emphasis on patient education. We hold pre-operative surgery classes; make available videotapes on planned operative procedures, informed consent or rehabilitation protocols following surgery; as well as provide patients with literature about procedures.
