Desk-Net

Desk-Net is a product of Desk-Net GmbH. We are a leading provider of newsroom management software. In early 2007 we launched the beta version of our editorial calendar software Desk-Net with our pilot customer Frankfurter Rundschau in Germany. Over the following months and years we gradually optimised Desk-Net and with it steadily grew our customer base. Our growth has increased significantly in recent years as more and more media companies realize the importance of proper editorial management in the handling of content. Today Desk-Net is being used by thousands of journalists around the world in hundreds of newsrooms and communications departments. Our customer base ranges from traditional local, regional, and national publishers to pure online portals, specialist publishers and communications departments. A team of software developers is working continuously to improve the software. We release a new version of Desk-Net about every six weeks. Desk-Net GmbH was founded by Matthias Kretschmer. Prior to founding the company Matthias worked as a strategy and process consultant for publishers and as an online project manager for large international clients.
