DF Automation and Robotics Sdn Bhd (DF) is a local automation company that designs, manufactures, markets, and maintains Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) for various kinds of industrial and commercial use. An AGV is a "mobile robot" that uses sensors to guide its direction and can be programmed to transport cargo from one location to another automatically. DF's AGV is unique as while it has the functions of other imported commercial AGV's, is more cost effective to purchase and maintain. The AGV brings various benefits to an industrial company such as reducing high labour reliance, increasing workload efficiency without increasing cost, increasing workplace safety by reducing accidents and improving savings in bottom line due workload scalability. AGV can be used to transport many different types of material including pallets, rolls, racks, carts, trolleys and containers. Industry's currently utilizing AGVs include (but are not limited to): Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Automotive, Warehousing, Food & Beverage and Hospital.
